Money Pillow Talk for Couples

It is hard to plan for finances.  Each person has their own personal financial issue, background, relationship with money and saving.  I learned this from my marriages.  It took me a while to understand this.  Not communicating perceptions or expectations around Sex, Money and children will kill a marriage.  Be sure to have this conversation before you get married.  In fact, have conversations throughout the marriage – weekly, monthly, and annually.  

As a couple, what are your money goals?  She may want to always have nice cars, (And I can appreciate a nice BMW X5).  Her spouse may want to own a antique shop.  With the proper planning and communication, both of those goals can be achieved.  Also think about buying a house, planning for retirement, or leaving a legacy.
