I woke up so excited yesterday – July 1.  There is such a great feeling of knowing there is a new day, a new month and a new quarter ahead.  The recognition of another chance granted to make the changes needed to move forward.

Happy second half of the year!!  Time to reflect on what went well and what needs tweaking?  Be sure the celebrate your completion and thank God for the opportunity to try to be a little better for the second half.

But planning is always needed.  Do not start the day, week, month or quarter not knowing what is needed to be successful.   As Benjamin Franklin said, “If you fail to plan, you plan to fail”.  What is your planning method?  Do you have an annual retreat just for you?  Do you use a planner?  How do you celebrate your accomplishments?

My challenge to you:  Plan your week – what 3 things do you need to complete to reach your annual goals?  What steps are needed?  With whom do you need to connect?

Financially – time to look at the first half of the year.  How did you do compared to your budget? (You do have a budget). Any changes needed?  What are you going to do to increase your income?  What are you going to do about reducing needless expenses?

If you need help with setting up your budget or sticking with your current budget – Let’s talk.  It all takes planning.
