It's 2025 already?  Have I already broken my resolutions?  This year really snuck up on me.  But I am so excited about this new year.  I see so many possibilities.  I see opportunities to make things just a little bit better.  I am hopeful God will grant me the time to keep learning, growing and sharing.

Read a Book

A major goal for me is to read one fiction and on non-fiction book each month.  This will allow me to travel in my mind as well as learn about other people and cultures.  A wonderful book I read last year was “Briefly Perfectly Human” by Alua Arthur.  I loved her concept of having a death you curate.  But you must take stock of your life now to have the death you want.  Visualize how you want to die.  This will make an impact on the decisions you make while you live.  I know, we do not like to talk about death.  But it is the most certain part of life!!!

Plan your Own Celebration

Why do we plan for a fabulous funeral but not plan for a fabulous party/gathering during life?  Why do we put that burden on our families?  The saying goes, “Funerals are for the living”.  I disagree, funerals are for those who have a financial gain.   I’d rather that money be used for a favorite charity or for a gathering of my family.  Go on the cruise to celebrate my life!!!  I hope to live to be 100 and I want it to be a life worth celebrating.

Control the Controllables

Plan for a wonderful life well-lived.  Be healthy, happy and secure in your decisions.  Ensure 2025 is as fulfilling as you need.  Are you being intentional about your needs and wants? Do you have a plan to make this a great year? If you are not sure where to start, let’s talk
